Windows Uses Non-Standard DNS Settings

You may notice your internet connection has been set to use specific DNS servers, 216.146.35.35, 216.146.36.36.

These are the DNS resolvers of Dynamic Network Services, the operators of Dynamic DNS. These settings are made by the Dynamic DNS updater client if the DynDNS.com Internet Guide feature is turned on.

This is not malicious, but it is generally most usual for a system to use the DNS service of your network, or that of your ISP. In either case, the DNS settings of the system should be Automatic.

Disable the Internet Guide in the updater interface, then reset the DNS settings as described here.
