Adobe Acrobat: Cannot Use Presets When Scanning

Adobe Acrobat allows scan settings to be pre-configured so a scan can be activated with a simple menu choice. However, presets can only be made for scanners via a TWAIN driver.

If your scanner only appears as a WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) device, uninstall the scanner using Device Manager, reboot to allow the device detection to trigger and reinstall.
