Google Chrome — Manually Installing Updates

Google Chrome will generally update itself automatically in due course. However, to manually ensure it is up-to-date:

  1. Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the browser window. The system menu will drop down:

  2. Click Help then About Google Chrome.

If Chrome is up to date, it will say so. Otherwise it will download the latest update and then prompt to Relaunch so the updates can be applied.

If Chrome doesn't appear to be updating, it may be best to reinstall using the standalone installer: 64-bit, 32-bit.
