Windows Startup Problems with Wireless Mouse

If your Logitech wireless mouse is running low on charge, Windows XP may not start properly. Symptoms include:

• Startup does not progress past the initial boot screen, although the blue progress bar continues to tick over;

• The system may halt with STOP 0x000006B or 0x000007B errors.

The workaround for this is to unplug the charging cradle, let Windows start, then attach the charging cradle.

Ensure the mouse is charged by keeping it in the charging cradle when not in use.
