Cannot Deactivate Adobe Product

When attempting to deactivate an Adobe product, the option to Deactivate under the Help menu is greyed out.

This may be because the product number was from a volume licence, which does not need to be activated or deactivated.

If the product was a retail (boxed) product, another remedy is to open the Adobe product, wait a while and the Deactivate option will appear.
