Cadzow 2000 Startup Errors — Out Of Memory

When launching Cadzow 2000, you may receive the following error:

  • A system error occurred, or there isn't enough free memory to start Microsoft Access. Close unneeded programs and try again.

This may be caused by mismatched Office 97 files, for example, if you have the Access 97 Runtime installed on the same system as Office 97, but they are at different service pack levels. The Access 97 Runtime supplied by Cadzow is automatically at SR-2 level, but Office 97 needs service packs applied to it manually.

The solution is to uninstall the Access 97 Runtime, then apply all Office 97 service packs. (See Cadzow 2000 Workstation Setup.)
